The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has launched a new online bookshop, enabling shoppers to order printed copies of GGF publications.

The GGF Shop contains a comprehensive range of technical, health and safety and consumer publications that are said to ‘help companies and individuals throughout the industry work to the highest standards’.

The new retail website aims to deliver printed copies of GGF information not only to GGF members but also architects, specifiers, designers, builders and building managers.

Covering the full range of GGF titles, the GGF Shop is split into 10 product areas that include all the GGF’s technical data sheets, practice guides and health and safety publications.

The site also offers the GGF’s suite of consumer leaflets, providing guidance on consumer protection and the GGF Conciliation Scheme, as well as independent advice aiming to increase homeowners’ confidence when buying and installing glass and glazing.

Giles Willson, deputy chief executive and director of technical affairs commented: “The GGF Shop is an excellent way to access the GGF publications and will help both Members and Non-Members get the information they need to help them do their jobs.”

GGF president, Brian Baker, who officially opened the GGF Shop, said: “It is a pleasure to open the online shop! I am sure it will be a welcome addition for GGF members and all in the wider industry.”

The GGF Shop offers visitors the opportunity to purchase hard printed copies but they can still download electronic copies of some GGF documents that are already in the public domain for free, by visiting the GGF Website publications section. All GGF members can still download every publication free of charge from the Members Area of the GGF Website, while enjoying discounted prices for printed copies of publications from the GGF Shop. There are also exclusive ‘cost price rates’ for members ordering more than 1,000 printed copies of any individual publication.
