Brian Baker, Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) president, has presented Willie Kerr, managing director of new GGF member, Roseview, with the company’s membership certificate at the first joint meeting of the Conservatory Association and Window and Door Group of 2015.
Nigel Rees, GGF Group chief executive, commented:
“We’re delighted that Roseview has joined the federation, as they are the longest established PVC-U sash window manufacturer in the UK and bring a wealth of experience.”
Willie Kerr, who has been in the window manufacturing industry since the early 1980s, commented:
“We are pleased to join the GGF and hopefully we can have a considerable input as well as reaping the benefits from being a member. We have already attended a couple of specialist group meetings as invited guests and enjoyed the networking and hearing members’ views on issues affecting our sector.”
With a 50-strong workforce, Roseview Windows manufactures PVC-U vertically sliding sash windows for trade, residential and commercial customers.
Brian Smith, GGF Home Improvement director, commented:
“Roseview joins the GGF at a time when we are working on some key issues affecting the PVC-U window sector. One of the most prevalent issues involves conservation areas and Article 4 Directions, which affect homeowners’ choice of products, materials and designs. I have no doubt that Roseview’s experience combined with the GGF’s investment in this area will help us develop our plans and activities. Roseview are a most welcome addition to the membership.”
