Long-standing Halo customer, UFiT Windows of Hemel Hempstead, has continued its successful relationship with The Veka UK Group systems supplier, with a universal changeover to Halo’s System 10 profile.
The Hertfordshire based company celebrates 30 years with Halo in 2016, citing the technical performance and versatility of its products and ‘attentive installer support’ among the many reasons for its loyalty.
Mark Richards, sales director for UFiT Windows, said: “With this one system, we are able to produce a comprehensive range of window styles, as well as residential doors and frames. We now offer a range of composite doors paired with the System 10 frame, which – via The Veka UK Group – we are offering to other Halo fabricators in the area.
“We were naturally a little apprehensive about such a significant overhaul in our manufacturing, but Ian McNiffe – one of The Veka UK Group’s technical service engineers – made it such a smooth transition, there was barely any downtime in production.
“Demand for the new system has been astounding, and we are currently booking installations into November and December. We’re conscious that overlong lead times can be off-putting for customers and as a result, we’re taking on two additional installation teams to ensure we can continue to deal with orders to our high standard, and in a timely fashion.”
Besides fabricating Halo’s PVC-U systems, UFiT benefits from both tiers of The Veka UK Group’s installer support, being both a Halo approved fabricator and Network Veka member.
