Smart Architectural Aluminium has launched a new colour range alongside a ‘major enhancement’ to its customer service offering.
Following completion of the latest expansion to the company’s manufacturing site, a second polyester powder coat paint line is now fully on-stream. This not only increases the company’s overall finishing capability to 630m² per hour, but the additional flexibility also enables lead times on Smart’s most popular colours to be brought down from 13 to just 10 days (with dual-colour profiles at 18 days).
The company has also introduced a new range of colours with the launch of the Cotswold range. This collection of ‘classic’ colours is said to provide the ideal palette for traditional projects and conservation areas alike. Building on the popularity of the company’s existing finishes (including standard RAL and metallic fishes, as well as Smart’s own Naturals, Sensations and Alchemy ranges), the elegant shades and warm tones of the new Cotswold range have been developed to provide the ‘perfect finish’ for new and old properties, the spectrum including shades of pastel blue, olive green and warm cream – all typical of properties in the Cotswolds and shires.
Commenting on the launch, Smart’s managing director, Eddie Robinson, said: “Our in-house polyester powder coating facilities are the most advanced of their kind in the UK and allow us to not only provide the widest range of high-quality standard and non-standard colours, but also short lead times to meet the needs of our customers. Every finish meets the demanding marine-grade standard, enabling our systems to be used in even the most challenging environments.
“Our extensive and varied range of colour and finish options provides inspiration for all types of properties. From contemporary urban homes to traditional cottages, we have the perfect colour to suit every project in any location.”
All Smart products are backed by a 25-year paint guarantee, which covers the coated aluminium against a wide range of faults.
