Aluplast has expanded its standard foil offering with the option for Smooth Anthracite Grey on both interior and exterior surfaces.
The new contemporary finish is available on the new aluplast grey substrate, providing a strong match to aluminium.
It’s available across the German system leader’s complete PVC-U product range, including Ideal 4000, Ideal 70, and the recently launched Smart-Slide patio door.
“In offering Smooth Anthracite Grey on both external and internal surfaces, and combining it with our grey substrate, we are giving consumers the flexibility to match into aluminium with superior energy efficiency and performance and at a much more attractive price point”, said Ian Cocken, sales and marketing director, aluplast.
“Combined with a product such as our new Smart-Slide patio door, which can span openings 4.5m wide and 2.5m high with just two panels, it presents installers with a fantastic opportunity to upsell against other PVC-U systems, or even compete directly as an aluminium alternative.”
Aluplast’s foil range, which consists of 30 plus foils, is bolstered by Aluskin, its unique aluminium external cladding system, and Woodec, the next generation foil that is designed to replicate both the aesthetics and feel of timber.
Processing more than 150,000 tonnes of PVC-U in Europe annually, equivalent to 75% of the combined UK and Irish markets, Aluplast foils over 90,000m of foiled products each day.
Significant investment in new foiling lines and in CNC foiling technology at its new 13-hectare manufacturing facility, means that it can also offer a high degree of flexibility on non-standard finishes.
This includes reducing the time lost in traditional, manual foiling set-up and switch over from hours to minutes, which means that Aluplast is able to pass on the efficiency and cost benefits to its customers.
“We offer a highly competitive service on foils,” continues Cocken. “With standard colours, customers can receive their orders within three working days, and bespoke foils can be delivered within 15 working days.
