Dempsey Dyer, the trade fabricator of ‘premium quality’ PVC-U and timber windows, doors and conservatories, has launched a new video with industry marketing specialist, Purplex, to help installers sell its ‘timber-look’ Beaumont window.
The video is aimed at end-users and features managing director, Peter Dyer, summarising the aesthetic, thermal and security benefits of the mechanically jointed PVC-U window, while also discussing the colour and hardware customisation capabilities. Later in the video, viewers can see the window being made in Dempsey Dyer’s state of the art factory in Yorkshire.
Installers ‘who want that extra level of personalisation’ can have their logo included at the beginning and end of the video, something Dempsey Dyer has already done for Hampshire based KJM Windows, which heavily promotes the Beaumont as part of its range.
Peter Dyer commented: “At Dempsey Dyer, we recognise the importance of providing our customers with the tools they need to promote the innovative features packed into all our products. We already offer a Beaumont brochure, and I wanted a new way to help installers explain the unique features and benefits on offer. Video is the future of online marketing and considering our marketing partners Purplex can now offer this service, it seemed to make complete sense to go down this route. The video is expertly produced and I’m sure many of our customers will use it as part of their sales presentations.”
The Beaumont is made with the Deceuninck 2800 profile system and because it is a ‘timber-look’ product, it is only available in a woodgrain foil. The main selling point is said to be the joints – the Beaumont is mechanically jointed, just like a timber window. It has been accepted in conservation areas and is said to be ideal for consumers ‘who like the look of timber but want a lower cost, lower maintenance product’.
