Greg Impey has returned to AluK to take up a new position: business development manager. Having spent two years with AluK from 2016 to 2018 in a mix of trade and commercial sales roles, he is well known to AluK customers and has fitted seamlessly back into the team.
Greg’s aim is to introduce new customers to the AluK brand, products and service, and help existing customers win profitable new business in the trade, commercial and retail sectors. In a market which is currently experiencing unprecedented levels of demand, Greg is looking forward to getting face-to-face with fabricators, installers and main contractors. He said: “Products like the new C70S window system and the F82 bi-fold door are exactly what customers need right now, to make the most of the huge opportunities which exist, particularly in commercial new build and home improvement.”
Having spent the last three years as part of a team running a commercial facades business, Greg brings a real understanding of the challenges and demands customers face to this new role. He added: “I know from experience exactly what fabricators want from their systems house in terms of products, support and advice, and I am very confident that AluK has the best package out there. I’ve also got valuable relationships with specifiers and installation businesses, which I plan to use to benefit all those fabrication businesses that choose to partner with us.”
Greg has been welcomed back by AluK’s national sales manager, Neil Smith, who said: “Greg will be rolling out our brand-new package of support, designed to make it easier than ever for customers to come on board with us. The timing of the appointment is just about perfect, and it’s great to have him back on the team.”
