After a hugely successful first quarter, DesignHaüs, a double glazing home improvement and commercial glazing specialist, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of two new company directors. Marc Goodwin, who’s been with the Staffordshire-based company for 18 months, is sales director, while Lee Shellam, who’s been with DesignHaüs for a year, is contracts director.
Together with managing director David Scurr, the new management team has its sights set high for the coming year, with plans to take on more staff and to open a new showroom in Bromsgrove. Marc, who has 15 years of experience as a sales director with Rydale Windows, focuses on delivering excellent customer service, working closely with new customers from the initial quote through to the final build. “The company is moving forward fast, and customer service is one of the many things we’re focusing on to help that happen,” he said.
With five years as a senior engineer at Swadlincote Window Company in Derbyshire behind him, new contracts director Lee is responsible for surveying new projects, ordering materials and making sure every installation is completed to the customer’s satisfaction. “We’ve had a very successful first quarter, and we’re now planning to open a new showroom and to take on more staff to cope with increased demand and keep our lead times to a minimum,” said Lee.
David concluded: “Marc and Lee have been a really strong addition to the DesignHaüs team, bringing with them the skills, energy and experience needed to fuel a rapid expansion of the business. I congratulate them both on their well-deserved appointments, and I look forward to continuing the great start we’ve had to 2021.”
