Aluplast UK has enhanced its existing sales and technical support capability by appointing of two new members of staff. Daniel Pugh joins the business as technical applications engineer and Hussain Abdulkader has joined as area sales manager for the south.
Daniel, who has extensive experience as an engineer in the aerospace industry, is tasked with servicing Aluplast’s growing UK customer base, providing technical support for production, assisting fabricators that require increased capacity or those that are looking to introduce additional products from Aluplast’s portfolio. “It’s a very exciting time to be joining the industry,” said Daniel. “Our customers are experiencing a period of exceptional high demand. My engineering background and my experience of working in high-pressure, technically challenging environments means I am very well placed to help them operate more efficiently and present effective solutions to help them manage increased output if required.”
Hussain, who has extensive sales and marketing experience at PVC-U fabricators in the UK and overseas, said that he is looking forward to expanding Aluplast’s market share. “Having previously lost out on business in my previous roles because I couldn’t offer what my competitors had with Aluplast products, I was well aware of the benefits of the system before I joined,” he said. “The overall high-quality of Aluplast’s systems is a major selling point for me, as is the strength of supply and our competitive lead times on foils. We have recently increased our number of stock foils with the addition of Agate grey – and that’s proving to be a very attractive proposition, given increasing end user demand for colour.
“Fabricator customers are also impressed with our green profile, Ecotech, which is supplied as standard across our Ideal70 and Ideal4000 ranges and especially with our Smart-Slide patio door,” added Hussain. “That’s because none of our competitors can offer a PVC-U patio that can be manufactured to the same sizes as Smart-Slide; our customers can even use it to sell against bi-fold doors.”
