The Window Company (Contracts) has appointed Ray Baty as a contracts manager, to work on a range of window and door replacement projects for social housing providers across London and the south east. One of Ray’s key areas of expertise is the fire door market, having worked most recently overseeing projects for a UK fire door manufacturer.
Ray has more than 30 years’ of industry experience, and the Window Company (Contracts) hopes that his specialist knowledge will especially benefit the business and its customers as it restarts fire door installations, which were halted because of changes to specifications and product testing in the wake of the Grenfell Tower enquiry. In his new role, Ray is meeting familiar faces at councils, housing associations and contractors. He aims to build on these already successful relationships.
