Terry Grant has joined the sales team at Liniar and, after six months of gardening leave, he is reportedly ‘chomping at the bit’ to get started.
With almost a quarter of a century of industry experience under his belt and a well-known face in the trade, Terry brings with him a wealth of know-how as he reunites with several of his former colleagues.
Terry began his inauguration in the industry in 1992, working at Regency Plastics for two years before moving on to KB Sterling for a further two years, and then spending four years with Diplomat, before joining Eurocell in 1999. He spent 16 years there before leaving his role as regional manager in the South last June.
“I’ve been thinking about taking on a new challenge for some time now and the opportunity to join Liniar was just too good to refuse,” Terry explained. “I already had great relationships with several of Liniar’s sales directors, Howard, Martin and Ken, after working alongside them at Eurocell. And, of course, it will be great to be working with Roger again.”
Terry took six months of gardening leave due to the terms of his contract with Eurocell, which also prevents him from contacting any of his old customers until July this year.
“As much as I’ve enjoyed a rest, I’m chomping at the bit to get back to work! I’m looking forward to introducing myself to all of my new customers and developing relationships with them.
“I’m passionate about helping to develop the businesses that I work with. My job isn’t just about selling, it’s about offering customer support and a quality service.”
Terry will be on the Liniar stand at the FIT Show in April for anyone who would like to come along and say ‘hello’.
