Kubu and Avantis Hardware have appointed Alastair Wheeler as national key accounts manager. Alastair brings considerable experience and expertise to the role, having worked within the hardware sector over the last 30 years.
The new role will involve the development of existing customers and also the introduction of new ones, further raising Kubu’s profile within the window and door smart sensor sector. Alastair said: “Having Known Mark Bromley, the CEO of Avantis Hardware and Kubu, for over 20 years now, I’m thrilled to be joining the business at this stage of evolution.
“With a background of working for large global players in the hardware sector, I’m looking to bring in my skillset and to use it for the business and the betterment of the existing customer base too. With the Kubu door sensor technology already getting well established in all sectors of the fenestration industry, and the new Kubu window sensor now firmly on the horizon, the opportunities for us and our customer partners in the smart home sector are going to be immense.”
