Reynaers Aluminium UK has appointed Samantha Hill as its new head of marketing. Sam brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in the window industry for the past 15 years.
Sam’s previous role was head of marketing and communications for the specialist insulated glass component manufacturer and distributor, Thermoseal Group. During her time there she implemented a strategic marketing plan that contributed to year-on-year sales growth. She was also instrumental in securing company successes that included G Awards and the Queen’s Award for Excellence.
“I knew as soon as I met the strong team of professionals and learned of the ambitious plans at Reynaers Aluminium UK, that it was the right move for me,” said Sam. “I have had the privilege of working with such great people in the window industry. Having built up a detailed knowledge of the market and the dynamics of the sector, I was keen to continue to do so. This role brings me one step closer to the end customer.”
She added: “I’m looking forward to getting stuck in. There are a lot of challenges ahead for the window industry, not least how we accelerate towards net zero and continue the implementation of more sustainable practices across our operations. Reynaers has a strong legacy, ambitious targets for sustainability and a solid history of product development which is focused on future requirements for the industry. As well as understanding the nuts and bolts of the window industry, I’ve also worked both in-house and on the agency side in marketing, which gives me a good vantage point and enables me to ensure a well-rounded perspective of what’s right for the business.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Sam to the team,” said Richard Hall, managing director. “She joins us at an incredibly exciting time where we’re looking to reinforce our position in the commercial sector and to continue to build and grow our trade and retail base, both with a firm focus on customer needs whilst providing innovative products. We were impressed with her strong track record in the window industry but also in the wider marketing and PR sector. We’re looking forward to her playing a pivotal role in the future success of the company.”
