The Window Company (Contracts) has appointed David Toal to the role of contracts manager. David is already working on several large-scale social housing projects, including one funded by the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. The latter project features replacement PVC-U windows alongside external wall and loft insulation, air source heat pumps and photovoltaic panels in a bid to transform the energy efficiency of hundreds of Fenland properties.
David has spent his entire career in the window and door industry, completing an apprenticeship in timber joinery and progressing into installation and then contracts management with some of the industry’s biggest names in PVC-U. IOSH certified, he brings a commitment to the highest health and safety standards on site to the role, and a ‘right first time’ approach that suits the culture of the award-winning Chelmsford-based installer.
He said: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at the glass and glazing industry’s Installer of the Year. At its heart it remains a family business but with levels of efficiency and service that go beyond anything I have seen from the national household brands.”
