Roy Wakeman, OBE, who will remain with PTPG as chairman, commented: “The search for a new CEO has been a long process and I am confident that Joe Martoccia is the right candidate to take PTPG forwards and continue developing the successful growth strategy of this £20m plus business. We are all looking forward to working with him.”

PTPG was established by Roy Wakeman in 2006, with the acquisition of Mumford & Wood. Revenue at that time was approaching £6m. In 2009 Graphite Capital, a UK private equity company, invested in PTPG in order to fund the acquisition of Timber Windows. Graphite Capital holds a majority stake in the business. PTPG currently employs 130 people working from headquarters in Tiptree, Essex, where Joe Martoccia will be based.
