Andrew Charlesworth, the previous technical director for Kömmerling in the UK, has been promoted to the new role of director of global category management for WarmCore.
A statement said this move will see a renewed focus on this revolutionary aluminium/PVC hybrid system that includes casement, flush and tilt and turn windows, along with feature-rich patio and bi-folding doors.
Andrew said: “This is a hugely exciting and important role for Kömmerling and profine. While I will have an international perspective for WarmCore, I do believe that 2024 will be pivotal for this product platform in the UK as we look to ignite considerable interest from existing Kömmerling customers and also those from the wider aluminium sector.”
WarmCore is a product platform designed to accommodate triple glazing right from the outset, it noted, offering impressive thermal insulating properties for windows, patio and bi-folding doors.
The statement added that windows can achieve 1.3 (W/m2K) double glazed and down to 0.80 (W/m2K) triple glazed as standard with 44mm units. Residential, double, patio and bi-folding doors can achieve 1.4 (W/m2K) double glazed and down to 1.0 (W/m2K) triple glazed, again as standard with 44mm units, it cited.
