Leaders of Voilap, Emmegi UK’s parent company, have appointed Giulia Furgeri to a new group HR role in Italy. Guila previously worked as Emmegi UK’s business manager.
Giulia is to continue to support the UK-based machinery firm and the other global sales hubs from an HR perspective, working to strengthen relationships, increase productivity and improve retention. She is reporting directly to Valerio Floriani, Voilap’s chief people and technology officer.
“In recent years, Voilap has adopted a one company approach, harmonising HR and other processes around the group, which now includes Emmegi, Elumatec, Tekna, Keraglass and Someco, as well as several digital brands,” said Giulia. “I will be working on the ongoing one company transformation, supporting the whole of the sales network to deliver new, harmonised and simplified HR and talent processes.
“Of course, I’ll still be in regular touch with the UK team and make regular trips from my new base at the Voilap HQ in Limidi di Soliera.
“After eight years here, I’ll miss the UK and the team here in Coventry very much. But I’ll be staying closely involved as we implement our SAP SuccessFactors programme and other new initiatives to support Voilap’s ambitious growth plans.”
