Double R Glass & Roofing Systems, the IGU and conservatory roof specialist, has appointed Wayne Mills in the role of sales manager to support the company’s ‘ambitious growth plans’ in the next 12 months.
Managing director, Ian Sims, explained: “It’s no secret that we’ve made a sizeable investment into the automation of our factory with the recent installation of a super speed vertical IGU line, but we continue to be a sealed unit manufacturing business that’s built around people.
“We have a certain way of doing things at Double R – we deliver high quality units with outstanding service and attention to detail that sets us apart from the competition. Having known Wayne for a long time, I knew he’d be a good fit for this philosophy and will be able to help us meet our ambitious growth targets while continuing to deliver the high level of service our customers expect.”
Wayne added: “I’ve had a long working history in selling to contractors and installers across the building industry but what really drives me is working for companies that want to grow in the right way. Double R has already grown steadily whilst maintaining its good reputation and is now looking for further growth by building more long term relationships with fabricators and installers that care about quality, service and profitability. We’re looking for mutually beneficial partnerships with like-minded companies. Although I’ve been managing the organisations internal sales function I will now be taking the lead in field sales.
