The Glazerite UK Group has appointed Darren Rhodes as managing director of its North West Division in Bolton. Darren joined the trade fabricator on Monday 11 January, 2021.
Glazerite Group MD, Robert Brearley, said: “Darren has extensive senior leadership experience in manufacturing and a passion for operational excellence and customer service.
“His appointment follows the significant investment we’ve made at the site this year in order to strengthen its performance and capabilities; however we want to go further in terms of our operational capacity and level of service. To achieve this, we want to put in place a managing director who will lead an improvement programme at Bolton to make the site more efficient and more customer focused.”
This is the latest in a series of appointments Glazerite has made to further strengthen its board of directors, as it steps up ambitious growth plans for 2021 and beyond.
Darren said: “I’m delighted to be joining such a well-respected and strong business and I’m really looking forward to working with the team in Bolton and the wider group. Following recent investment and with a good team already in place, the North West Division is in a great position to better its output and improve service levels. I can’t wait to play my role in helping mould the future of the business.”
