Tara Deller-Hoy is the British Board of Agremént’s new operations director, bringing extensive management experience as well as a focus on staff development and operational change. Prior to joining the BBA, Tara spent 24 years in the rail industry, where her career started as a train driver for Heathrow Express. She later became operations standards manager before working for London Overground as head of drivers. In 2014, she was seconded to Crossrail, successfully updating the organisation’s management structure and overseeing a budget of £55m.
For the BBA, Tara is responsible for directing and coordinating resources to deliver the company’s policies, goals and objectives, and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Tara’s role supports chief executive Hardy Giesler.
Hardy said: “Tara joins the BBA at an exciting time for the business, when our focus is firmly on continuous improvement and innovation to serve our industry more efficiently. With a solid footing in training and development, Tara’s commitment to the development of people, coupled with her skills in building and implementing operational improvements, will be a welcomed addition to the senior management team.
