Aluprof has appointed Przemyslaw Federowski as facade engineer in its London office.
Aluprof’s managing director, Wojciech Brozyna, commented: “Our aluminium systems are becoming well known and increasingly specified by architects in London. To ensure that we can quickly respond to specifier’s requests for facade engineering support, we felt it was necessary to have a permanent presence in the city.”
A trained engineer, Przemyslaw is said to bring with him a wealth of experience gained in the UK facade and solar shading industry. According to Aluprof, the role of the facade engineer will be to assist specifiers with Aluprof systems, particularly where challenging details are required.
Aluprof says that it ‘embraces value management across the project timeline’, so the facade engineer’s role will be to seek and design bespoke solutions which can offer the project cost and time savings, whilst benefiting from robust design solutions.
The company’s range of systems include curtain walling; sliding folding doors; commercial doors systems; and a wide range of window systems, all of which are said to be increasingly specified on a variety of residential and commercial projects across the UK and overseas.
