In line with its commitment to invest in resources needed to support customers, AluK has made a two new appointments. Mark Brown has joined as a sales manager for the south west region, and Liam Hanson has been appointed project consultant, working in London and the south. Both have huge amounts of experience in aluminium fenestration and will help customers get the most from their relationship with AluK.
Mark said: “I know how important it is for a systems house to add real value to its customers’ businesses, whether that’s through the power of the brand, the usefulness of the support services or the quality and innovation evident in its products. The good thing about AluK is that it offers all three, so I’m really excited to be joining the team.” Having worked on both the installation and fabrication sides of the industry, as well as in system sales, Mark brings a valuable all-round perspective to the role.
Liam’s role is in the commercial sector, helping to get AluK specified on major projects and supporting customers in winning those specifications. He has more than 18 years in a similar role, so has hit the ground running, joining a team which is enjoying considerable success in both the private and public sectors. Liam said: “The set up at AluK is really impressive and the investments which have been made in the factory, in finishing and support systems mean there’s massive potential for growth. The new C70S window in particular will open up fantastic new opportunities for customers. I can’t wait to get that product in front of specifiers.”
Justin Hunter, AluK’s managing director, added: “While some of our competitors have retrenched and reduced the size of their support teams in the face of the pandemic, AluK has remained very much on the front foot throughout. We’ve all seen how important robust supply chains and strong supply partnerships have proved to be during the crisis and our customers will continue to benefit from the ongoing investments we’re making in our teams and our services.”
