Everglade Windows has been named a finalist in the 2016 West London Business Awards in the Manufacturing & Engineering Company and SME of the Year categories.
“London is part of Everglade’s DNA,” said Jay Patel, sales director at Everglade. “Our business has been based in West London since we began in 1980 and now we have factory premises covering 65,000ft2 in Perivale.
“As a London company born and bred, it’s a real honour to be a double finalist in these awards which recognise the achievements of companies across West London.”
This is the fourth year that the West London Business Awards have been held, to celebrate business excellence in the region. They are organised by West London Business, an organisation which represents hundreds of companies across the world with an interest in West London.
West London Business is governed by an impressive selection of blue chips including Heathrow Airport, Fullers and Brunel University, as well as a selection of SMEs.
Andrew Dakers, CEO of West London Business said: “We have received more entries than ever before, making this the toughest year yet in which to secure a place on the final shortlist of the West London Business Awards. Our shortlist provides a fantastic window on the excellence that is driving West London’s economy forward and the awards night at Wembley will provide a fitting platform to recognise the success of all these businesses.”
“Being a finalist is recognition of the quality manufacturing at Everglade,” added Jay. “This year, we were also highly commended in the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards in the Business Growth category.”
The winners of the West London Business awards will be announced on 2 February 2017 at Wembley Stadium.
