Greg joined the fabricator business Warwick North West in 2007, starting out on the manufacturing floor and working his way up to sales and production. The business was founded in 1998 by Greg’s uncle, Gavin Johnson, and was then taken over by Greg’s father, Brian Johnson, in 2008. Despite a global financial crisis, under Brian’s leadership the company reached a turnover of £12m by 2022.
Last year, when his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, Greg took over his role as director at the age of 34. He further grew the business and successfully drove product development and innovation, according to the business’ representative.
Today, Warwick North West occupies a 100,000ft² manufacturing facility in Bootle. A team of more than 120 industry professionals work for the business, manufacturing a wide range of Eurocell PVC-U windows and doors as well as a range of aluminium products from Sheerline and Cortizo, for the trade, new build and commercial markets.
Greg has also driven job creation by securing partnerships with workforce organisations Nobody Left Behind and Inside Connections. He is also a strategic partner of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce. Committed to helping the local community, Greg has additionally secured partnerships with Ykids and Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
