Sash window manufacturer Victorian Sliders is celebrating its most successful year on record, after seeing turnover soar by £10m over the last 12 months. The manufacturer experienced unprecedented demand for its EcoSlide sash windows, its representative said, causing the business to implement extra shifts, expand office locations, hire dozens of new employees and significantly expand its transportation fleet, to keep pace with demand.
Having reached the £10m milestone, representatives of Victorian Sliders claim that the business is now in an excellent position to continue to thrive and grow, into 2022 and beyond. Ian Cunningham, chief finance officer, said: “The incredible success we experienced in 2021 is a direct result of Victorian Sliders’ long legacy of investment. Under the leadership of CEO Scot Starkey, we’ve continually invested in expanding our productive capacity, improving our products and bringing everything from profile extrusion to recycling under one roof. Today, we stand out as the UK’s only vertically integrated PVC-U sash window manufacturer.”
