As part of its product development programme, Vert Projects says it has been undertaking a range of fire resistance tests on Pyrostyle fully glazed fire doors and screens.
The company says that tests are being conducted to BS EN 1634 -1, as it has an eye on ultimately CE Marking its doorsets, when a harmonised standard is agreed by the European Commission.
According to Vert Projects, in the latest test undertaken at Cambridge Fire, one door achieved two hours fire resistance, whist another door with a full height sidelight achieved in excess of 80 minutes. Vert Projects says it has invested heavily in the Pyrostyle brand and is currently involved in a several prestigious projects throughout the London area.
Further fire tests are planned during the rest of 2019 and into 2020, as the company continues to expand and enhance the range.
