Unique Window Systems won the Growth Award at the LeicestershireLive Business Awards last Thursday (26 October 2023). The award recognises the company’s success and subsequent expansion: the business’ turnover has surged from £20.8m in 2020 to £39.2m last December, a representative of Unique has reported.
Leaders of Unique attribute the growth to a focus on reinvesting in the team and operations, a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality and an ability to deliver responsive and personable levels of service. The fabricator of aluminium and PVC-U windows, doors and curtain walling remains proudly family owned, and works with trade installers on a supply only basis. The business also works with large commercial clients looking for a complete supply and fit service.
Sunil Patel, joint managing director of Unique Window Systems, said: “We are understandably proud and delighted to have received the LeicestershireLive Business Award for Growth. It serves as independent and impartial recognition of our dynamic approach and the dividends this has delivered. It’s also a real credit to our team and to the important role their passion, professionalism and dedication continues to play in our ongoing success.”
Unique now operates from multiple sites in Leicester and works with customers across the UK. Its team of more than 300 people fabricates a full suite of fenestration products.
The LeicestershireLive Business Awards are held annually in conjunction with the University of Leicester. The purpose is to recognise local individuals and organisations from across the county whose achievements or positive impact on society can serve as an inspiration to others.
Unique Window Systems has previously been recognised with a Leicestershire Business Award from the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, a ranking on the UK Top 100 Fabricator/Installer list and a listing on the Top 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain – a league table compiled by the London Stock Exchange Group.
