Ultraframe and its customers have been shortlisted 10 times across various categories of the inaugural Conservatory & Orangery Awards. The awards, which will take place in late October, have been established to celebrate and promote excellence in conservatory design and build.
Ultraframe has been shortlisted for Best Solid Roof System for its Ultraroof system, which was declared the consumer-preferred solid roof by 8 out of 10 homeowners during independent research carried out for Ultraframe earlier this year. The unique Ultrapanels used in the Ultraroof system have also been shortlisted for Technical Innovation of the Year, along with the Ultrasky Flat Skylight which is a finalist in the Best Rooflight or Lantern category.
Finally, Andrew Thomson, the company’s long-standing design and development director who has been responsible for the creation of Ultraframe’s pioneering product range over the last 15 years, is a finalist in the Outstanding Achievement category.
Many of Ultraframe’s customers have also been shortlisted for their installations featuring Ultraframe conservatory and extension roof systems. These companies are Forest Edge Home Improvements, Durham Design, Niddal Windows, Mendip Conservatories, SEHBAC and Lifestyle Windows.
Commenting about the impressive number of shortlisted entries, Ultraframe marketing director, Alex Hewitt, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Ultraframe and so many of our customers have been shortlisted for awards at the Conservatory & Orangery Awards. It’s fantastic that the systems themselves have been shortlisted, as well an installations showing how they can be used in real life situations to create stunning conservatories and extensions. We would like to wish all of those shortlisted the best of luck and we look forward to celebrating the successes of our sector at the awards later in the year.”
Luke Wood, of Mark Allen Group, the company behind the awards, added to Alex’s comments, saying: “We have had a fantastic response to the launch of the Conservatory & Orangery Awards. The levels of innovation, skill and energy in this sector are remarkable as the industry continues to respond to the demands of homeowners for additional, modern living spaces that can be enjoyed all year round – the results of which are clearly evident in the extremely high quality of the entries that we have received.”
