The opening ceremony of the UN International Year of Glass officially begins today (10 February 2022). The hybrid event – which takes place in Geneva, Switzerland, and online, over two days – aims to highlight the latest thinking as to how glass can aid the development of more just and sustainable societies, as well as to champion recent scientific and technical breakthroughs.
