The Steel Window Association (SWA) welcomed members and guests to its 55th AGM last week. This was its first physical event for two years.
Hosted at The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) headquarters in London, attendees included member companies and associate members. A guest speaker from the GGF spoke to the assembly about building regulation changes.
Kris Bennell, the SWA‘s president, said: “It was great – and productive – to be in the same room again with like-minded friends in the association and industry as a whole. Alongside council matters, we were able to present the hard work of the product development group; especially as we go into the next few years where legislation and rule changes will affect our industry and we need to collaborate.
“The sales development group discussed the new branding and website, and new marketing initiatives as we position ourselves as the go-to for architects, designers, specifiers and consumers who are looking for a reputable steel window and door company. We have recently welcomed two new members, Perla Windows and Holdsworth Windows, so it was good to meet the teams and to present the SWA to them in person.”
