Veka UK has been shortlisted for the G19 ‘New Product of the Year’ Award with innovative, new ultramatt surface finish ‘Spectral’.
Veka UK unveiled its unique Spectral finish in four colours at this year’s FIT Show, where it was hailed the ‘star of the stand’.
Marketing director, Dawn Stockell, said: “Available in graphite black, anthracite grey, platinum grey and umbra grey, Spectral is unlike anything else in the industry and is exclusive to Veka Group within the PVC-U profile industry. It uses ground-breaking technology to create an ultrasmooth, ultramatt finish with unrivalled performance benefits.
“Spectral has already had great feedback from our customers and we’re proud to see it shortlisted for G19 Product of the Year. A huge amount of work went into its creation and it’s a pleasure to see that ‘officially’ recognised and celebrated.
“Having identified a trend towards smooth finishes that emulate aluminium style as opposed to the traditional wood look, Veka invested in R&D to develop a new, highly durable matt surface finish to appeal to changing customer needs.
