A team of staff from Sika, the glass bonding solutions supplier, are to represent the brand at GlassBuild America, the US-based trade show for the window and door industry, this week. The three-day show begins tomorrow (31 October) at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Sika exhibition stand at GlassBuild America is to feature a range of high-quality silicones, hybrids and polyurethane products for assembling and fabricating vinyl, wood, and aluminium windows and doors, thanks to Sika’s fenestration business unit. The product technologies on show are engineered for challenging manufacturing environments and can be used in automated plants, the business’ representative has reported. “Sika’s fenestration products have shown excellent UV resistance and are ideal for window back bedding, structural window bonding and general assembly and reinforcement adhesives in manufacturing,” they continued.
Russ Livermore, vice president of industry marketing for Sika, said: “Sika has been active in the window and door industry both in the United States and globally for over 20 years. Our expertise in sealing, bonding and structural bonding for this industry enables us to provide a complete line of solutions for window, door and insulated glass manufacturers.
“This allows Sika to offer technologies to enhance manufacturing productivity and the performance of window and door units, strengthening Sika’s global leadership in glass sealing and bonding.” To visit the Sika Corporation’s booth at GlassBuild this year, visit booth number 3206.
