The Certass Trade Association, said to be the new voice for the glazing industry, is going to The Build Show, as part of the PIGS Pavilion at the new Windows, Doors and Glass Show.
Launched in July, Certass Trade Association is already said to be the biggest membership body in the industry with more than 3,000 members. It has been set-up to give installers the chance to make their views heard and get real, practical business support.
Jon Vanstone, chair of Certass Trade Association, explained: “Going to The Build Show gives us the chance to talk to more installers about what Certass TA is. Being a part of the PIGS Pavilion puts us at the centre of the Windows, Doors and Glass Show too, so we can also talk to systems companies, hardware suppliers and fabricators about how they can get involved with affiliate membership too.”
2018 is the first year of the Doors, Windows and Glass Show, which has been launched after 2017 Build Show visitor feedback requested more glass and glazing stands and exhibitors.
Jon added: “Plans for the TA include tackling the skills gaps, changing homeowner’s perception of the industry and giving members the heads up on what’s going on in Government and the industry. Any company looking for a membership body that will give them support that really adds value to their business can sign up at the show.”
The Build Show is part of UK Construction Week at the NEC. Visitors can find Certass Trade Association and learn out more about becoming a member at the PIGS Pavilion, Stand B515 in Hall 10 between Tuesday 9 October and Thursday 11 October 2018.
