Reynaers Aluminium UK is the latest industry name to commit to supporting this year’s Glazing Summit, a conference that returns to Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham, on Tuesday 18 October. The leading aluminium systems company is supporting the summit for the third year in a row.
At previous summits, leaders of Reynaers featured heavily in discussions. Last year, for example, John McComb, Reynaers’ technical services director, took part in a debate on whether the industry was embracing a sustainable future. Of this latest commitment to support the event, Richard Hall, Reynaers’ managing director, said: “With recent updates to the building regulations coming into force, sustainability continues to be high up on the industry’s agenda, as will capacity issues on materials and labour. We’re delighted to be partnering with the Glazing Summit to drive discussions on these important industry topics.
“The event is an important space for the industry to come together and discuss the challenges we face. Being a platinum sponsor enables us to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry and gives us the opportunity to showcase our award-winning systems and products on our stand on the day.”
Organisers of the Glazing Summit are expecting to attract more than 400 leaders from across the industry for a day of insight sharing, debate and discussion about the biggest industry issues. Dozens of big-name sponsors are already on board, they say.
Andrew Scott, founder of the Glazing Summit and CEO of organisers Insight Data and Purplex, said: “Reynaers has been designing innovative aluminium curtain wall, window and door solutions for buildings globally for more than 50 years. We are excited they are partnering with us again. They are a huge name in the industry, which shows how valuable the Glazing Summit is viewed.
He added: “Momentum is really building for this year’s event.” For tickets or sponsorship opportunities call 01934 808 293 or visit glazingsummit.co.uk.
