Registration for the 10th anniversary edition of the Fit Show is now live on the show’s website. The exhibition is set to take place from 23 to 25 May 2023, and is marketed as the UK’s number one event for the windows, doors, glass, hardware and components industry.
The year 2023 marks an extra special edition of the B2B trade show as it is 10 years since it was first launched. Over the last decade, the Fit Show has evolved significantly. From its roots as a predominantly PVC-U windows and doors show, the event now incorporates home improvement products in materials ranging from aluminium through to timber and the very latest glass technology.
More than 85% of space at the 2023 show has been allocated, its organisers have reported, and 20% of that proportion are brands that have never exhibited at Fit Show before. In the last month, exhibitors that have pledged to join the lineup include garage door experts Hormann UK, fenestration software providers Cyncly, the Italian aluminium machinery manufacturer Gemma Group SRL, lifting systems companies Uplifter Gmbh and Co Kg and GGR Group, the aluminium systems company ASAS Aluminum, Supalite Tiled Roof Systems and Windowparts.
As part of its anniversary event, organisers have announced new features that are designed to entice visitors to return again this year. For exhibitors looking to qualify leads more efficiently, and visitors looking to purchase the latest products, the show has a new Hosted Buyer Programme that aims to assist in setting up pre-arranged appointments. This feature is designed to save time and money by taking visitors straight to the people and products they want to see most.
The Glass and Glazing Federation and Fensa have partnered with the Fit Show to deliver a CPD certified learning programme for the 2023 Fit Show. Content is planned for tackling current industry challenges as well as the latest industry regulations and legislative changes. A new demonstration area is planned on the show floor this year too, which is designed to complement theoretical content with hands-on, practical support for installers.
Nickie West, the Fit Show’s event director, said: “It’s always exciting when we open registration for Fit Show. It’s been a quick turnaround since our delayed 2021 event in May 2022 but we’ve managed to make some exciting changes and develop new features to broaden our appeal in this time. This, coupled with the fact that there are so many new brands to see for the first time, make Fit Show an essential fixture in the 2023 calendar.
“This is your chance to see every link in the supply chain, under one roof, at the same time. Save time visiting multiple suppliers and distributors, and wrap everything up for the year ahead at Fit Show. The fact that it’s our 10-year anniversary event means there’s even more reasons to attend and help us celebrate than ever before!”
After the anniversary edition of Fit Show this May, the event is next scheduled to take place in 2025. The Fit Show is set to revert to its every other year pattern, to complement Fensterbau.
