This October, Quickslide has announced its ongoing support of National Home Security Month (NHSM); a campaign aimed at raising awareness around the importance of home security.
Back for a seventh year, NHSM addresses a variety of safety related topics, offering advice and guidance on everything from smart locks, apps and cameras to high quality security furniture for doors and windows. During the month, Quickslide says it is keen to impress the heightened opportunities for installer customers to utilise the campaign to garner additional interest from homeowners by promoting its range of standard security features included on all products.
“National Home Security Month gives installers a great introduction to conversations about home security and the most appropriate products for keeping families and possessions safe,” explained Quickslide’s marketing manager, Sandra Berg. “Since last year we have invested heavily in ensuring that our doors and windows meet greater security standards at no extra cost. For example, our PAS24 vertical slider now comes with the Secured by Design accreditation as standard. This is of particular note, as it used to be something customers had to pay an additional fee for, on top of PAS24. Now the two upgrades have merged together.”
Quickslide has recently changed its standard hardware on all aluminium sliding doors, with the handle now also benefitting from PAS24 approval. This development comes just ahead of an anticipatory introduction of a bi-fold which will also meet the flagship standard, with this pending new addition also meeting the PAS24 requirements for new builds when paired with a laminate glass upgrade.
Sandra concluded: “While we want our installers to highlight the security features of Quickslide products, their job is made far easier by knowing that they come as standard. Conversations with customers can comfortably focus on aesthetics, suitability and price, with the confidence that safety is taken care of.”
