The Certass Trade Association has won four trophies at this year’s Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards. The ceremony at London’s County Hall saw Certass TA take the gongs for Good Governance, Best Marketing Campaign, Best Social Media and the biggest award of the night, Trade Association of the Year.
Jon Vanstone, chair of Certass TA, said: “We are thrilled with these award wins – which have been made even sweeter by the fact that our trade association is only just one year old.
“The Trade Association Forum is the association of associations. It encourages best practice and promotes excellence in a whole range of industries from hairdressing to engineering and everything in between. The awards are supported by Government too, making them the most significant for any trade association.
“Having the success of Certass TA recognised by leaders and influencers from other industries as well as government is fantastic. It proves to us that our approach to addressing the biggest issues facing the glazing industry really is the best.
“We’re committed to levelling the playing field for the local tradesperson, promoting the industry, ensuring a skilled, professional workforce and championing diversity. These awards are a real credit to our members and our team.”
Linda Cavender, CEO of the Trade Association Forum, said: “Certass TA has experienced a phenomenal journey in a very short space of time, positioning itself as a solution to a whole host of problems in their industry. Introducing a strategic plan and pledging to provide information and support to help their members manage their businesses effectively…is exactly what today’s association should be doing.
“This approach has ensured that this organisation has become the largest association in their industry with a huge number of members, most of which are clearly engaging with this organisation’s activities on a regular basis.”
