Leaders of the trade fabricator Modplan have reported hosting a successful Leka Systems open day on Monday (27 March). “It was a great introduction to our Leka portfolio and helped show prospects the level of commitment they could expect from us,” said Ian Lewis, Modplan’s field sales manager. “Attendees’ feedback has been exceptional. We’ve already secured several new sales enquiries.”
Business owners, managers and sales representatives attended the one-day event, which was held at Modplan’s headquarters near Newport, Gwent. Attendees were able to learn more about the advantages of the Leka roofing portfolio, including live presentations of the Leka solid roof, orangery roof system, Leka Xi modular system, Leka carport and canopy system and Leka skylight system.
Rhys Hoddinott, managing director of Leka Systems, was on hand throughout the day. “We were delighted to support Modplan at their open day,” he said. “Leka roofing products have taken the market by storm over the past few years, and it shows no signs of slowing down. Market conditions are working in our favour, and with the rise in energy prices, more households are focusing their attention on energy saving products. Our roofing systems make buildings much more thermally efficient by design, which presents a big opportunity for fabricators and installers.”
After the seminar and live product demonstrations, attendees were given a guided tour of Modplan’s multi-site facilities, including its dedicated Leka fabrication plant. “Seeing the quality, efficiency and high-quality production output of our Leka roof products is always impressive and gives further assurance to potential new customers,” Ian added. “We were delighted to see so many existing and prospective customers at the open day and look forward to hosting similar events in the future.”
Modplan is marketed as the first fabricator to manufacture Leka in the UK, as part of its proactive commitment to open up opportunities for customers and give them a competitive advantage. Leaders of the business aim to add further value through their partnership approach to customer support, which includes marketing, product training and additional business development activities such as open days.
