A video series aiming to ‘reveal the world of PVC windows’ is now available to watch online, thanks to a team from the machinery manufacturer TAKA-WPR. Titled ‘Looking In’, the documentary series of 15-minute videos aims to highlight different aspects of the window industry, and to especially focus on foil-laminated PVC windows.
The series began last Wednesday (11 October), and all episodes of ‘Looking In’ are available in English, Spanish, German and Italian. The first episode is on the topic of cooperation, and emphasises the importance of successful partnerships in the fenestration industry, as well as the resulting effects of synergy.
Describing the video series, a representative of TAKA-WPR explained: “Experts from various European countries share their experiences and expertise on topics such as quality, sustainability, cooperation and production processes. The documentary video series is aimed at all persons, interest groups and institutions in the window industry. It also aims to provide important information about PVC windows for architects, housing associations and private customers, in order to provide helpful information for the decision making process.
“The video presents facts and technical procedures in an easy-to-understand manner, in order to address the widest possible audience and create interest for the subject.” The first season of the series has been produced in cooperation with the Profine Group.
Profine’s leaders welcomed a film crew to the business’ production sites in Germany, Spain, France and Italy for the documentary video series. Representatives of the foil manufacturer Renolit and the German Quality Association for PVC Window Profile Systems also participated in this film project.
Preparations for the second season of ‘Looking In’ are already underway, and as part of these preparations the TAKA-WPR team is looking for partners who would like to participate, including manufacturers of windows and doors. To register your interest, email marketing@taka-wpr.com.
