L Pearce Home Improvements, an Epwin Window Systems installer, has opened a new showroom in a Grade II-listed building that was previously an old pump house in Rhos-on-Sea, north Wales. The extensively refurbished building now showcases a wide range of Epwin products, including Optima PVC-U windows and doors, Stellar aluminium windows and doors, and PatioMaster sliding doors. In centre stage is a 3.5-metre Stellar aluminium bi-folding door, which opens up to a kitchen and bar area, demonstrating the open-plan appeal that the doors deliver.
Despite the building’s historical heritage, the showroom has been refurbished with a modern, contemporary interior that reportedly complements the cutting-edge products on display. The showroom marks the next stage of the company’s three-year growth, which has seen the business develop from a one-man start up to an established installation business.
While the business has flourished due to the upturn in the domestic market as a result of the pandemic, its founder, Luke Pearce, is clear that the products from Epwin Window Systems have played a crucial part. He said: “We have been fitting Optima and Patiomaster products since we started the business, and introduced the Stellar aluminium range to our portfolio nine months ago. The aesthetics of the products is second to none, and offers huge appeal to homeowners.
“Similarly, the quality and reliability of the products allow us to fit with confidence, knowing we are not going to get any call backs. This protects our margins and our reputation.”
Luke added: “As soon as customers drive up to the building, there is an immediate wow factor. This opens the business up to a different demographic of customer, and starts a first-class customer journey. Once inside, the showroom demonstrates the vast range and diversity of our offer in a clean, contemporary environment. This design approach was quite deliberate, and capitalises on current design principles towards smoother, cleaner lines and less cluttered living.
“We are delighted with the end result. It’s proving very popular with customers both existing and new.”
