October 2017 will see the launch of Frontier, Epwin Window Systems’ new range of composite door leaves. Gerald Allen, Epwin Window Systems’ marketing manager, commented: “The composite door market is growing and Frontier will help our customers make the most of the opportunities available.”
According to Epwin Window Systems, the three ranges, Classical, Contemporary and Cottage, and 25 different designs means there is ‘a style to suit every house’ while a wide range of glazing options helps consumers to personalise their choice even further.
A Frontier door has a thermoplastic woodgrain finish to replicate timber and give what is described as a more ‘realistic’ effect. The range is available in a capsule collection of 10 popular colours, all with ‘superior’ scratch and abrasion resistance, helping to keeping doors in great condition for years to come. Coolskin technology minimises the amount of solar heat absorption in order to reduce the surface temperature fluctuation throughout the day. In addition to their ‘excellent’ weather stability the facings are also said to be ‘highly durable’ with high impact performance during extremes of temperature.
Available in 44mm and 48mm options, Frontier solid timber core composite door leaves are manufactured in the UK and are designed to fit perfectly into Epwin Windows’ profile systems to enable its customers to offer a complete composite door solution. Frontier leaves are compatible with Profile 22 (universal composite door outer frame) CD70, Profile 22 Optima chamfered and sculptured systems plus Spectus Elite 70 bevelled and ovolo systems.
Gerald Allen concluded: “Our aim is to be a one stop shop for our customers and the new Frontier range of composite doors reflects this aim in action.”
