Following 20% year on year growth, specialist PVC-U sash window fabricator, Roseview Windows, has opened a new 2,500ft2 factory.
The new factory is stationed next to Roseview’s main 30,000ft2 manufacturing facility and will be used to carry out the more skilled ‘carpentry’ processes such as mechanically jointing frames and polishing welds.
Willie Kerr, MD, commented: “We’ve grown from making 500 windows per week to 600 per week over the last 12 months and the new factory will allow us to continue this trajectory well into the future. Our conservation standard window, the Ultimate Rose, has proven to be particularly popular, and from a manufacturing point of view, it made sense for us to move some of these processes away from the main production line. We’ve always been very conscious of lean manufacturing, but the extra space has enabled us to produce frames more efficiently than ever before, meaning we’re well placed for the next stage in our journey.”
