Due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19, and the new rules in place that will impact our way of living and working for the immediate future, Mark Allen Group has made the decision to postpone the inaugural GGP Installer Awards, so that the remarkable achievements of the UK’s window, door and conservatory installers can be celebrated at a more appropriate time.
Originally scheduled for 14 October, the GGP Installer Awards will now take place on Thursday 18 March 2021, at the prestigious Albert Hall in Manchester.
Luke Wood, Editor of GGP magazine, said: “Despite a phased return to work for much of the industry in recent weeks, and the gradual easing of lockdown rules, we believe it is in everyone’s best interests to postpone the Installer Awards to March next year. Your health and safety, and that of our own teams, is our number one priority and there is still too much risk associated with holding a large public event.
“With the UK likely to have social distancing measures in place for at least the rest of the year, our plan at Mark Allen Group is that by postponing the awards, we will give our industry the time it needs and create the ideal opportunity for us all to celebrate together next year.
“This was a difficult decision to make, but we are now able to switch our sights to the new March 2021 date, and get ready recognise the hard work of the UK’s hugely talented window, door and conservatory installers.
Entries are now live and with nine categories to choose from, recognising both the residential and commercial areas of this market, there is plenty of opportunity for companies and individuals to be acknowledged for their achievements.
We hope to see you there!
