The Considerate Constructors Scheme has recognised Nationwide Windows and Doors’ efforts to achieve on-site excellence. Nationwide scored 42 out of 45 on a site audit which assesses conformance with the Code of Considerate Practice, placing the business in the ‘Excellent’ bracket.
“Achieving compliance and meeting the highest standards are at the heart of what we do at Nationwide,” said Chris Costall, compliance director at Nationwide Windows and Doors. “This score is testament not only to the hard work of our operations team but it also recognises the processes that we have in place to ensure everyone who represents Nationwide carries out their work to the highest standards.”
As part of the audit, Nationwide’s QR code initiative was deemed an innovation, and its in-house NVQ centre was recognised for best practice. “We’ve always tried to innovate our processes so we can continue completing work to the highest standards in the best possible way,” Chris added. “We’re pleased that our QR code initiative has been recognised for this.
“[The QR code system] involves our on-site team having QR codes on their ID badges, to show all of their competency records and give our customers confidence that we will carry out our work to achieve best practice. It was also good to see the recognition of the Nationwide GQA NVQ training centre, which remains to be the only employer centre within the fenestration sector in the UK. This means we can train our workforce in-house to ensure that we have a competent workforce and meet our client’s expectations.”
