Modplan has further expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of the Profile 22 sculptured window and door system from Epwin Window Systems.
Heidi Sachs, Modplan’s managing director, said: “Profile 22 is a highly reputable PVC-U window and door system and offers a wealth of benefits to our customers. Alongside our existing Veka product range, we can offer a high level of flexibility and product choice to meet the diverse needs of our customers.”
A company statement said that Profile 22 features a 6-chambered outerframe and a 5-chambered sash as standard, which can be enhanced with RCM thermal inserts to further increase insulation. This results in double glazed units achieving a 1.2 W/m2K U-value as standard, it added, with options to reduce it even further, ensuring compliance with building regulations.
The products have the option to upgrade by adding Yale SensCheck window and door sensors. A range of colour finishes is also available, with the most popular options available from stock and others on a short lead time.

Modplan operates from a 167,000ft2 multi-site facility in Newport, Gwent. It manufactures over 2,500 frames per week, the statement said.
