The Paddle2Pedal GM Fundraising team has completed its challenge of canoeing 100-miles down the river Wye, abseiling down the rock face at Symonds Yat, and then cycling 120-miles back up to Oswestry, raising more than £90,000 for Hope House Children’s Hospice in the process.
Sponsored by the Epwin Group, Paddle2Pedal is GM Fundraising’s first all-female challenge, with seven members of the team having previously never ridden a bike before, and only one member having any experience of paddling a canoe.
