Liniar has announced that one of its five-year strategic objectives, entering the Scottish market, has been achieved with the signing of Livingston based, The Window Supply Company. The fabricator is said to have had a ‘robust’ first few months producing Liniar’s 70mm system and is reported to be the first mass manufacturer of the company’s reversible window.
According to Liniar, the directors of the Window Supply Company, Ron Hepburn, Martin Linden and Duncan Murray were so impressed with the service they received from sister company, Avantek Machinery, that they made the decision to start manufacturing with Liniar profile as well. The Window Supply Company reportedly went from its first meeting with Avantek to starting full production in just 11 weeks.
At an open day in March, Liniar claims that the feedback received from the team at the Window Supply Company, as well as the fabricator’s installers, was ‘excellent’. Liniar’s group managing director, Martin Thurley, commented: “Everyone that we spoke to at the open day had nothing but good things to say about the Liniar system. The team here at the Window Supply Company and their installers say it’s the best system they’ve ever seen or worked with!”
