The deadline for the inaugural Conservatory & Orangery Awards – launched by GGP Magazine to commend the innovation, talent and skill that has helped to transform the sector – is fast approaching, with entries officially closing this Friday, 26 July.
Supported by the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF), Certass and the Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB), the C&O Awards are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 30 October at The Midland Hotel in Manchester and will celebrate the best installations, refurbishments, products, people and technical innovations the conservatory and orangery has to offer.
Entries can still be submitted online here all of which will be assessed by a panel of impartial industry experts, whose background and experience will ensure that the judging process is fair and objective. For more information on the judges and judging process, please click here.
Commenting on the C&O Awards, Jon Vanstone, awards judge and Chair of Certass Trade Association, said: “I think these new awards are a great idea. Conservatories and orangeries are complex installations and require some of the highest skill levels, which is why it makes sense to celebrate excellence and best practice in this sector. It is also refreshing to have an awards event where judging is transparent, fair and inclusive, to recognise every stage of the conservatory and orangery supply chain.”
James Lee, GGF director of external affairs added: “We are delighted to be involved with the Conservatory and Orangery Awards. The GGF’s Conservatory Association is a unique specialist group within the GGF Membership and is very keen to support these awards which should give the entire sector a great boost. I would encourage all companies operating in the conservatory sector to enter these new awards.”
