Virtuoso composites have been fitted ‘front and back’ at the home of Lindsay Turford, a cleaning ‘guru’ with more than 45,000 followers on Instagram.
“We’ve lived in the house for 12 years now and the original timber doors were past it,” said Lindsay, better known as ‘dazlincleaning’ on the social media site. “It was time for a change, but I’m notoriously choosy and didn’t want to pick the wrong doors. I’d been sharing my story on social media and heard about the composite doors from Virtuoso Doors. As soon as I saw them, I knew that these were the doors for me!”
Lindsay placed an order for a new front and back door – the Kingston A2 cottage style composite door in Pebble, which is a Virtuoso superior colour, for the front and Virtuoso’s Crafton composite door in white for the back. She shared her story on Instagram and attracted more than 11,000 views from followers when the doors were installed.
“My followers love to hear all about my cleaning hacks and tips for the home and they were really enthusiastic when I did the big reveal of my new Virtuoso doors,” continued Lindsay. “The doors are superb looking and they have made a huge difference to my home. We wanted our doors to offer greater performance and security and you can tell by the quality of these doors that they will do just that.”
Lindsay’s installer, Lee Prescot of MLW Installations, says he had never fitted a Virtuoso door before but was impressed with the construction of the doors and the ease with which he fitted them. “As soon as Lee opened the packaging, he remarked on how solid the doors felt and described fitting them was a breeze,” Lindsay added.
Tony Craggs, managing director at Virtuoso Doors, has followed every stage of the Instagram star’s composite door journey. He said: “We’re thrilled that Lindsay is so pleased with her new doors. We put a great deal of care and attention into crafting every one of our doors, so it’s brilliant for us to get the seal of approval from Lindsay – she’s clearly a very discerning customer!”
