Building systems manufacturer Hueck UK is celebrating a record year. The company reports in its most recent accounts, turnover was up in 2016 compared to the same period last year.
Hueck has also made four new appointments this year, swelling the ranks at its UK operation.
Leon Friend, director at Hueck, commented: “We have seen a rise in construction projects this year – particularly in the London area – which has driven an increase in demand for our aluminium building systems and has seen us forge business partnerships with other leading construction businesses.”
This year, the UK arm of international construction contractor John Sisk & Son chose Hueck as its preferred supplier for future projects, reportedly because of its shared objectives of ‘quality, innovation and professionalism’.
Hueck partnered with John Sisk & Son on the Rathbone Market project, supplying aluminium windows and doors for housing in the Canning Town area.
Other high-profile projects in incorporating Hueck products in 2016 include the new Pinnacle building in Wandsworth and Eagle House in London’s Old Street District.
Leon commented: “Whilst the majority of projects are London based we also recognise the commercial potential in other cities. We have recently been involved in projects in Bristol – which is emerging as a regional powerhouse and demanding high-quality products.”
